Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial control, reporting, and costing for a global electronics manufacturing operation. You will oversee accounting, management accounts, and taxation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the business.

The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing finance, CPA or equivalent, proficiency with SAP/QAD, and strong leadership to manage a finance team through month-end closes, forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

• CPA with Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years’ relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of QAD & SAP will be an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in a supervisory role is essential.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, costing and other accounting functions.
• Manage the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements and group policies.
• Analyze data for decision making by operational and senior management.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax and corporate secretarial matters.
• Drive new financial system implementations and upgrades.
• Formulate and implement financial policies.
• Assists in daily operations and other ad hoc projects as assign from time to time.
