Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated is seeking a Finance Manager to lead regional accounting and financial analysis for Financial Solutions transactions. The role emphasizes agility, issue resolution, and documentation to support management reporting.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting, auditing, or insurance administration with GAAP experience, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills. CPA progression is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience required.
• CPA progression preferred; progress toward CPA valued.
• Experience with GAAP reporting and general ledger systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close for regional financial solutions with data validation and controls.
• Prepare and analyze US GAAP and Statutory financial reporting packages.
• Assist quarterly close and explain variances between actual and expected results.
• Contribute to annual financial planning by consolidating regional inputs.
• Collaborate on APFS automation projects to streamline finances and data flows.
• Participate in process migrations from HQ to APAC regional office.
• Maintain SOX documentation and support internal/external audits as needed.
