Job summary

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of accounting experience, with 2 years in a similar role, and will lead a professional finance team while liaising with auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, minimum 2 years in similar role
• Solid experience in financial accounting, reporting, treasury operations, and statutory/tax compliance
• Familiarity with accounting systems and applicable standards
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and regulatory understanding
• Proficient in accounting systems/ERP and MS Excel
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High integrity with strong control and compliance mindset

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely GL reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Coordinate annual statutory audit with external auditors
• Manage treasury operations including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and tax submissions
• Design and monitor internal controls and drive process improvements
• Lead and develop the accounting/finance team and partner with other departments
