Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead finance operations across multiple branches, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and reliable financial information. You will manage full set of accounts, bank reconciliations, monthly closings, budgeting and forecasting, and lead AR/AP teams, with focus on cash flow and profitability.

This role requires leadership, an analytical mindset, and hands-on involvement in financial review

Qualifications

• Experience in full set of accounts, monthly closing, AR and collection, POS/payment reconciliation, branch profitability, budgeting, cash flow management and management reporting.
• Able to lead the Finance function, not merely perform assigned accounting tasks.
• Able to independently review and validate the work prepared by the Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
• Monitor daily sales, collection and outstanding balances across all branches.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly AR reconciliation.
• Reconcile cashless transactions against POS records and bank settlements.
• Reconcile payment gateway transactions with bank settlements.
• Lead and oversee the monthly closing process.
• Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
• Analyse financial performance across all branches and monitor branch profitability.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Lead and supervise the Junior Account, AR and AP team.

An experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead finance operations and ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting, effective cash flow management and reliable financial information across all branches. This position is suitable for an experienced finance professional who can lead a team while remaining directly involved in financial review, reconciliation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliation
