Job summary

Water Revelation Sdn Bhd is seeking a finance professional to assist in coordinating the Group's IPO preparation activities. The role includes supporting due diligence, preparing financial information, and liaising with auditors, tax advisers, and legal advisers.

You will assist in management accounts, forecasting, and internal control improvements to meet public-listed company requirements, while coordinating with various departments to enhance finance processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACCA/CPA/MIA or equivalent is advantageous.
• 5–8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably in a Group environment.
• Experience in IPO, listing preparation, due diligence, corporate finance or public-listed companies is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting and internal controls.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller in managing and coordinating IPO preparation activities.
• Support IPO due diligence, including preparation of financial information, schedules and supporting documents.
• Liaise with external auditors, reporting accountants, tax advisers, legal advisers, IPO consultants and other professional advisers.
• Assist in preparing financial information and responses to IPO due diligence enquiries.
• Support the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, forecasts and financial information for the IPO process.
• Assist in reviewing and strengthening financial policies, internal controls and finance procedures to meet IPO and public-listed company requirements.
• Assist in preparing materials for management and Board meetings.
• Oversee and review daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor Group cash flow, working capital, receivables and payables.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and balances within the Group.
• Ensure proper accounting records and compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements.
• Work closely with other departments to improve financial processes and controls.
• Support ERP/system implementation and finance process improvements.

Job description

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with experience in a Group environment.

Experience in IPO, listing preparation, due diligence, corporate finance or public-listed companies will be highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting and internal controls.

Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with external professional advisers.

Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

ERP experience is an advantage.

Candidates from audit, commercial finance, investment banking/corporate finance or listed-company environments are encouraged to apply.
