Job summary

Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. is seeking a qualified accounting professional to oversee the Company’s accounting functions, focusing on General Ledger, Budget and Taxes. The role includes preparing financial statements and regulatory reports, implementing controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will supervise and train subordinates and contribute to accounting projects, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience and a solid grasp of MFRSs, IFRSs and taxation.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or professional qualification (MIA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA).
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience.
• Sound knowledge of MFRSs, IFRSs and taxation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deadlines oriented and good time management.

Responsibilities
