Job summary

Ming Heng Proton seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the company’s financial operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure accurate reporting, robust planning, strong controls, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee audits, budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting across multiple entities, guiding the team and liaising with external partners to support business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA Malaysia or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory position.
  • Strong experience in audit coordination, budgeting, financial forecasting, and group consolidation.
  • Good knowledge of consolidated accounts and statutory compliance.
  • Experience managing multiple companies or entities within a group is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.
  • Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, including preparing schedules and addressing findings.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts aligning with business objectives.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide management recommendations.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for the group.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage the Company’s financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, strong internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.
