Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a seasoned Finance Leader to implement and update accounting policies, drive the hotel budget forecast, and ensure robust financial controls. You will partner with management to align financial strategy with operational goals.

The role requires strong accounting background, at least 8 years in the field, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA is a plus, with full responsibility for closing processes and reporting to owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and update all Finance Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Establish hotel budget forecast (investment and operating budgets).
• Maintain management charts and administration forecast charts.
• Supervise purchasing and oversee payment of invoices.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and reporting to Hotel Management and Owners.

Job Description

• Implement and update all Finance Accounting Policies and Procedures in line with the administration and operation needs of the hotel
• Responsible for establishing hotel budget forecast (investment budgetand operating budget)
• Maintain management charts and administration forecast charts
• Supervise the Purchasing as well as to be responsible for the paymentof invoices
• Ensure for timely and accurate monthly closing of accounts andreparation of all required reports for Hotel Management and Owners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Additional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Full conversant in accounting principles and financial regulation standards.
