Job summary

Forest Interactive is seeking a driven Accounts and Finance intern to support automating financial processes in Kuala Lumpur. You will review, approve, and email e-invoices, update clients and vendors in the einvoice system, and assist with Xero data entry and month-end tasks.

This role offers hands-on experience in a growing tech‑finance team. The position requires a Diploma or Bachelor\'s in accounting/finance, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to commit 3–6 months.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Xero is a plus.
• Willing to commit 3–6 months.

Responsibilities

• Review draft invoices to ensure accurate MyInvoice tracking.
• Approve e-invoices and email to LHDN for validation.
• Update PICs on validation status and assist in sending validated invoices to clients.
• Prepare self-billed invoices for services from foreign providers.
• Conduct initial review of consolidated self-billed e-invoices; ensure second-level review for emailing to LHDN.
• Follow up with vendors on e-invoices to facilitate timely payment processing.
• Update contact details of clients and suppliers for einvoice purposes.
• Assist in timely updating of Xero with vendor invoices and filing of documents.
• Assist in drafting external correspondence and request payments via the portal.
• Assist AR ageing updates, reminders, and issue Letters of Demand if required.
• Assist in finalization of audit reports for dormant subsidiaries.
• Remind Sales team to request invoices to avoid miss invoicing to clients.
