Job summary

FINEXUS SDN BHD is seeking a diligent finance intern to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work closely with experienced accountants on daily accounting operations, documentation, and reporting while learning full-set accounting workflows.

Under guidance, you will handle data entry, reconciliations, and month-end close preparation, contributing to audits, statutory compliance, and financial statements while developing strong MS Office and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organised with ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn in a structured finance environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities including data entry and processing.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice tracking and verification.
• Assist with bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations under supervision.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
• Ensure timely filing of financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support adherence to internal accounting controls and documentation standards.
• Assist in preparing information for audits, tax submissions, or regulatory reviews.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects as assigned.
