Job summary

Carlist.my (iCar Asia Sdn. Bhd.) is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to handle day-to-day operations of the accounts department in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist with payment issuance, invoicing, and purchase orders, and support collections efforts with customers and car dealers.

The role requires strong organization, multi-tasking ability, and good English communication. You will maintain schedules, update agreement files, and ensure data integrity, while collaborating with your manager on

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the accounts department.
• Assist Finance Executive/Finance Manager with payment issuance and raising invoices/POs.
• Assist with collections and sending statements/invoices to customers.
• Update reports on collections from car dealers.
• Prepare schedules and manage paperwork and filing.
• Update agreements file and ensure data integrity of financial data.
• Collaborate with direct report and undertake other duties or projects as required.

Job description

Responsible of day-to-day operational matters of the accounts department.

Assist Finance Executive/Finance Managerin payment issuance, and raising Invoices/PO.

Assist Finance Executive/Finance Manager following up collections & sending statements & invoices to customers.

Updating reports on collection from car dealers.

Prepare schedule and responsible of paperwork and filing.

Updating agreements file.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and data integrity of all financial data.

Collaborate with the direct report, undertake any other duties or projects that may be reasonably required by the Management that may be reasonably foreseen through proactive role engagement and deal with matters arising in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

At least a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance qualification or in the related field.

Well organized, ability to multi-task, good interpersonal skills and also possess good attitude when engaged in the tasks assigned.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Be willing to go the extra mile in order to deliver outcomes.
