Job summary

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and HQ to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and data confidentiality across multiple branches.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and human resources functions.
• Familiarity with Malaysia taxation and regulatory compliance (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax).
• Experience with payroll processing and HR compliance under Malaysia labour laws is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts: AR, AP, GL, and fixed assets.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, invoice validation, and payments.
• Prepare and issue invoices, resolve discrepancies with internal teams, and ensure proper approvals.
• Process payments via cheque and internet banking (TT) and perform AR collections as per SOP.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close with HQ Finance Team; assist with tax filings.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
• Assist with staff expense claims and HR reporting; manage recruitment and payroll processing.
• Maintain HR records, administer onboarding/offboarding, and ensure compliance with Malaysia labour laws.
