Job summary

STARWISE is seeking a Finance Executive to support financial reporting and bookkeeping across group entities at our Kuala Lumpur office. You will handle full‑set or partial bookkeeping, month‑end close support, and assist in preparing management accounts and financial statements.

The role requires 1–2 years of finance experience, exposure to MFRS/MPERS, and proficiency in Excel. Prior audit or external reporting exposure is a plus; you will liaise with auditors, bankers, and tax agents as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/MIA/CPA/ICAEW) or part-qualified welcome.
• 1–2 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting basics.
• English (written and spoken); Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Full‑set or partial bookkeeping and month‑end close support.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
• Perform bank, GL, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist during audit fieldwork and respond to queries.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany schedules.
• Work with QuickBooks and other cloud accounting systems.
