Job summary

Teguh Harian Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented accounts position to manage daily accounting tasks and maintain comprehensive financial records in Kuala Lumpur. You will prepare reports, perform reconciliations and support month-end and year-end activities while coordinating with auditors and tax agents.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years of related experience. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is expected, with exposure to full-set

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
• Basic understanding of AP, AR, GL and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to full-set accounts, tax and audit will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR and GL.
• Assist in maintaining full-set accounts and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, payments and account balances.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documents for audit and tax submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant external parties when required.
• Assist with SST, tax and other statutory compliance matters, where applicable.
• Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and filing.
