Hong Leong Assurance Berhad (HLA) is seeking a Finance professional to prepare statutory and regulatory reports, support group consolidation in FCCS, and produce management reports with monthly forecasts. The role includes assisting in audits and handling ad-hoc finance projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, a degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in PeopleSoft Financial, FCCS, and MS Office. Insurance industry knowledge is a plus.

Preparation of statutory report, BNM report and other related accounting reports in a timely manner to meet all regulatory submission requirements.

Preparation of Group consolidation in FCCS and prepare additional schedules required.

Preparation of company management reports Preparation of annual budget exercise and monthly/quarterly forecast.

Preparation of monthly reconciliation and any unreconciled items are cleared promptly.

Assist in the compilation of data for interim and final audit by the external auditors.

Handle any ad-hoc project or task to support Finance functions, relating to reporting as appropriate, as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

Degree in accounting & finance or equivalents.

1 to 2 years working experience in related field.

Proficient in PeopleSoft Financial, FCCS, Microsoft Office application Professional qualification from ACCA, CPA, MICPA or equivalents.

Fundamental accounting knowledge and reporting knowledge for insurance industry (if any).
