Job summary

YYC in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.

You will maintain fixed asset records and review AR/AP postings while ensuring SST tax compliance and collaboration with external auditors. A Bachelor degree and 1 year of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Accounting or Finance field.
• Prior experience in Audit will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and ensure settlements across entities.
• Maintain and update supporting schedules for financial reporting.
• Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Review AR/AP postings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and file monthly tax reports (e.g., SST) and ensure tax compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal controls.
