Zara Building Solutions Sdn Bhd invites applicants for a Finance Executive who will support day-to-day accounting, admin tasks, and coordination with Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams in a growing trading and distribution business.

The role offers exposure to Finance, Administration, and cross-functional operations, with training provided and opportunities for career development in a dynamic environment based in Kepong, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma / LCCI / Accounting / Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in hardware, trading, building materials, distribution, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP or SQL systems will be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales orders, invoices, delivery orders, and related documents
• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding collections
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements
• Assist with monthly financial reports and payment schedules
• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform data entry into accounting systems
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions
• Handle daily office administration and documentation
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams on daily operational matters

Job description

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and organised Finance Executive to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and daily business operations and is looking to build a stable career in a growing trading and distribution business. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, customer and supplier transactions, office administration, and coordination with our Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sales orders, invoices, delivery orders, and related documents
• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding collections
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements
• Assist with monthly financial reports and payment schedules
• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform data entry into accounting systems
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions
• Handle daily office administration and documentation
• Manage emails, calls, courier arrangements, office supplies, and general office coordination
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams on daily operational matters

About you
