Job summary

Warner Music Group seeks a Finance Controller for ANZSEA to oversee financial integrity, treasury operations, tax compliance, and corporate governance for RM and WCM entities across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

As a key leader in the APAC Finance Governance team, you will drive sustainable, scalable growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with regional leadership to strengthen controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial controllership, audit, or tax leadership.
• Experience in multinational, IP‑intensive industries preferred.
• Regional knowledge of SEA and ANZ tax/compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Ensure reporting aligns with USGAAP and SSC collaboration.
• Cash Management: Oversee treasury, forecasting and liquidity for RM and publishing entities.
• Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany loans, cross-border funding and transfers.
• Funding & Compliance: Structure loans and interest with transfer pricing and thin-cap rules.
• Loan & Capitalization: Oversee intercompany loans, equity capitalization and capital requirements.
