Job summary

Viridien Group in Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting, statutory, management reporting, budgeting, payroll-related matters, and compliance for APAC entities.

You will lead a multi-entity finance team across GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany and AR, ensuring accurate reporting and IFRS/local GAAP compliance, coordinating with auditors and driving process improvements in a regional shared services setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy. Professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience including managing multiple entities.
• Strong IFRS, local GAAP, statutory reporting and payroll knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities for APAC entities incl. month/quarter/year-end closings.
• Coordinate external/internal audits and statutory compliance.
• Lead and review GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, AR and related shared services processes.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and cost allocations.
• Provide financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting to management.
