Job summary

GAMUDA is seeking an experienced financial accounting professional to oversee all financial accounting matters and the corporate affairs function in Malaysia. You will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, monitor cash flow, and provide analyses to aid management decisions.

Reporting to finance leadership, you will coordinate budgeting, statutory compliance, internal controls, and liaise with head office, financial institutions, auditors, and tax agents while supervising daily accounts

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or recognised professional accounting qualification.
• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and internal control policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial reports for internal and external reference and circulation. And to ensure these are completed timely and accurately.
• Monitor the Company's cash flow position.
• Prepare ad-hoc sensitive or analytical analyses, reporting to facilitate the Management on their decision making.
• Monitor and verifying the daily operating matter on the compliance of Company's internal control and procedure and accounting policy.
• Liaise with Head Office, Financial Institution, Auditors, Tax Agent and other Statutory Bodies on accounting and financial related matters.
• Coordinate and prepare of reports for periodic meeting.
• Assist in search of information and financial analysis on any business development matters.
• Responsible for the day to day operational matters of the accounts department.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
