Job summary

She Dazzle Empire Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee all financial and accounting functions. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, strong controls, regulatory compliance and strategic financial planning to support top management decisions.

You will lead the finance team, coordinate with department leaders, and ensure timely financial analyses to drive performance and align activities with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3–5 years of senior Finance/Accounting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with full set of accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial, accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Experience in audit coordination and internal controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Maintain full set of accounts including AP/AR, GL, and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans with department leaders.
• Ensure accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial advice to CEO and top management.

Job description

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall financial and accounting functions of She Dazzle Empire Sdn. Bhd. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, regulatory compliance, sound cash flow management, budgeting and financial planning. The Finance Controller is also responsible for providing timely financial analysis and strategic insights to Top Management to support informed business decisions, strengthen financial performance and ensure the Company's financial activities are aligned with its overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage the Company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliation and journal entries.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.

Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and financial plans in coordination with Department Leaders.

Develop, implement and continuously improve effective financial controls, procedures and approval processes.

Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian financial, accounting, tax and statutory requirements.

Lead, supervise and provide guidance to the Finance team in carrying out daily Finance operations.

Provide financial advice and recommendations to the CEO, Director and Top Management.

Support Management in evaluating financial implications relating to business plans, investments, operational decisions and strategic initiatives.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a senior Finance or Accounting position, preferably with hands-on experience managing full set accounts and financial reporting.

Strong hands-on knowledge of full set accounts, month-end closing, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Strong understanding of Malaysian financial, accounting, tax and statutory requirements.

Experience in audit coordination, financial compliance and internal control.

Good knowledge and practical understanding of E-Invoice requirements and processes.

Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good leadership and team-management capability.

High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability when handling sensitive financial and Company information.
