Job summary

Haleon is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to support Inventory, Cost Accounting and Intercompany Tracking across assigned markets in Malaysia. You will ensure accurate month-end close, balance-sheet integrity and compliant reporting while upholding internal controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Financial Reporting
• Strong background in Inventory and Cost Accounting including Intercompany process
• Experience on Internal Control Framework environment, ideally Sarbanes Oxley
• Experience in working in Shared Service Centre in financial accounting and preferably from multinational environment
• Demonstrate a good Commercial mindset and being able to interact with stakeholders at different level
• An individual with a positive/ 'can do' attitude and a team player
• Used to lead activities and interact/manage stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Pro-active, self-motivated and displaying initiative in solving problems
• Actively seeks to improve processes making them more effective and efficient
• Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines is met
• Used to work with tight timelines and in a demanding environment
• Must be fluent in English - both written and spoken
• SAP, Bison experience is an advantage
• Degree in Finance/Accounting and preferably a CPA, CMA, ACCA

Responsibilities

• Partner with FPCRA, COE SG&A, Stat & Tax, Supply Chain, Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) and market stakeholders to support month-end close, financial reporting and issue resolution.
• Act as the key finance contact for assigned markets on Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, ICT (Intercompany Tracking), PPV, Stock Provision, GRNI, NRV and E2E COGS related matters.
• Collaborate with FPCRA to support P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, providing variance analysis and accounting explanations for material inventory and COGS movements.
• Work closely with CS&L, Supply Chain and market teams to investigate and resolve inventory-related exceptions, including open PO, GRNI, stock provision, freight, inventory ageing, goods-in-transit (GIT) and intercompany issues.
• Support monthly ICT activities, including volume submission reviews, DPS/Profit Release analysis, mismatch resolution and intercompany reconciliations.
• Provide Inventory, Costing and COGS-related inputs to management reporting deliverables, including Gross Margin analysis, Working Capital (WCAP), ONL, inventory reporting and other finance review packs, where required.
• Liaise with Stat & Tax, auditors and other stakeholders to provide inventory-related schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for statutory, tax and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with other COE towers and business stakeholders to identify process improvement, standardization and automation opportunities across Inventory, Cost Accounting and E2E COGS.
