Reeracoen (Malaysia) is seeking a General Accounting & Bookkeeping professional to manage end-to-end accounting duties in Malaysia. The role covers invoicing, ledger maintenance, reconciliations and payments, with responsibilities spanning loan accounting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate audits, assist with budgets and ensure adherence to MFRS/MPERS, SST and other statutory obligations while maintaining robust internal controls and audit trails.

Responsabilités

• Issue invoices, debit notes and credit notes on time per MyInvois requirements.
• Record payables and receivables in the accounting software accurately.
• Do general ledger entries, journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare cheque and online payments with supporting documents and approvals.
• Maintain all financial transactions and keep audit trails in the system.
• Do monthly bank, inter-company and sub-ledger reconciliations to GL.
• Reconcile loan disbursements, repayments and balances between the Loan Management System and GL.
• Recognise interest income, fees and charges under applicable standards.
• Support impairment / ECL provisions under MFRS 9 with Credit and Risk teams.
• Track write-offs, recoveries and restructured loans.
• Monitor funding, borrowings and cash flow for loan disbursements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance).
• Prepare statutory financial statements under MFRS/MPERS and Companies Act 2016.
• Prepare data/reports for regulatory submissions (KPKT and others).
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and management reports for Board.
• Coordinate annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage corporate tax matters, including CP204, tax computations and Form C with agents.
• Ensure SST, withholding tax and other statutory obligations compliance.
• Ensure company policies and internal controls are followed; support internal audits.
• Support AML/CFT record keeping and reporting where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on day-to-day accounting matters.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing deadlines.
