Job summary

Dataverse Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts Intern to support the finance team with bookkeeping, document preparation, and basic financial reporting. This hands-on role provides exposure to real accounting tasks within a busy department.

The ideal candidate will be pursuing or hold a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, with keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn. This full-time opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry for accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Support preparation of invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Help reconcile bank statements and update accounting systems.
• Assist in filing and organizing financial documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
