Job summary

Private Advertiser is offering an internship position in the Finance Department in Malaysia. You will assist with general finance and accounting tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining financial records.

The role involves supporting invoice processing, payment documentation, asset tagging, and month-end closing activities, under supervision. Ideal candidates are currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good numerical, organizational and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate with financial information.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general finance and accounting tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining financial records
• Support invoice processing, payment documentation, and filing of supporting documents
• Assist in checking invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Support asset tagging activities, verify asset details, and update the fixed asset register
• Assist in reconciling physical assets against the asset register and reporting any discrepancies
• Assist in preparing accounting schedules, reports, and other financial documentation
• Provide support in month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor
