Job summary

SIMPLIFIED TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounts executive to manage accounting functions in Malaysia and support the Singapore HQ. The role covers financial reporting, AR/AP, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of MFRS, and proficiency in multiple accounting software packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MICPA qualifications are an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting/finance/auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Proficient in multiple accounting software packages (SQL Accounting, AutoCount, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks).
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other records.
• Support year-end closing activities and assist during audits.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable; monitor aging and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting; analyze variances and provide insights.
• Ensure tax filings and compliance with SST, corporate tax, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation; train junior staff.
