Job summary

YCSG Industrial Sdn Bhd in Bukit Minyak, Penang, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 5–7 years post-qualification experience, knowledge of MFRS and SST, ERP implementation exposure, strong Excel, and proven leadership of accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5–7 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP implementations and accounting software.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience leading accounting teams.
• Excellent communication skills for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per MFRS and other applicable standards.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintenance of financial records.
• Manage the audit process with external auditors and documentation.
• Oversee tax compliance including income tax returns and SST filings.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Prepare management accounts and provide financial analysis for planning.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Monitor cash flow and bank reconciliations.
