Job summary

Ansell in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking an Intern in Finance to support accounts payable activities and help maintain accurate financial records. You will assist with invoice matching, reconciliations, and month-end processes, while gaining exposure to general ledger, intercompany tasks, and financial reporting.

The role requires currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar field.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts
• Analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability
• Able to deliver in pressure work environment.
• Exposure Areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Inventory Costing, Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts invoice matching, resolve any exception
• Prepare reconciliation of subledger, Interco balance and confirmation
• Involve in month end closing activities for closing of system, reconciliation and confirmation
• Other responsibilities may be added from time to time
