Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks an Operations leader to manage daily test floor activities, improve OEE, and drive yield optimization.

You will coordinate NPI readiness and transfer processes to high-volume manufacturing while aligning with supply chain to forecast capacity and procure needed hardware. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 3–5 years of operations leadership experience, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in Operations management or a leadership role.
• Familiar with test processes / equipment operations / planning concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis, Process & Manufacturing challenges).
• Strong communication capabilities to align cross-functional teams and resolve friction.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certifications are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor testing activities and ensure seamless lot tracking and test program releases.
• Drive OEE improvements, test time reductions, and yield optimization.
• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness and transfers to HVM.
• Forecast capacity with supply chain and procure hardware for capacity expansions.
