Job summary

Calibre Events Solutions Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Field Trainer (Consumer Electronics) to build the skills of Field Force Agents and Dealer Floor Sales Managers, enabling effective customer communication in the sales field. You will evaluate capability through tests, design assessment materials, and work with outlets to share product knowledge.

Travel to retail outlets as required and coordinate with clients to ensure sell-out success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience in retail training or selling, especially electronics, is preferred.
• Proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Must be agile, presentable, customer-service oriented, self-disciplined and goal-oriented.
• Strong communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin; Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred.

• Participate in roadshows, events or any sales activities when necessary for Client’s sell-out.

Develop a competency and skill sets of Dealer Floor Sales Manager to deliver customer communication strategies in the sales field.

Evaluate Field Force Agents’ capability, product knowledge and selling skill by written paper test/role play.

Build good relationships with the outlet’s person-in-charge and all Floor Sales Staff.

Give full cooperation to the Client to communicate and feedback on all sales, stock, price and service-related matters.

Consistently learn and improve personal communication skills to conduct training in more professional ways.

To acquire all product knowledge and channel it to Floor Sales Staff.

To provide accurate product information to all target audience.

Physically be presentable in any occasion during operational hours.

To feedback all competitors’ pricing and promotion or marketing activity or sales talk.

To feedback Dealer Floor Sales Manager feedback, both compliments and complaints on our product, price and promotion.

To provide input/insight of market demand to Master Trainer in order to develop an effective sales talk guide.

To design assessment questions which meant to evaluate Field Force Agents’ product knowledge.

Participate in roadshows, events or any sales activities when necessary for the Client’s sell out.

Requirement :

Preferably holds a Diploma or equivalent education level.

Candidates with exceptional skill and experience in retail training/selling experience, especially in the Electronic & Electrical industry or a similar industry are preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Knowledge in Tech Savvy & Products will be an added advantage.

Must be agile, presentable, responsible, customer service oriented, self-discipline and goal-oriented

Excellent communication, interpersonal, selling skills & problem-solving skills

Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas

Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, local dialect will be an added advantage. We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

Able to travel and visit our retail outlet when required

Possess own transport (MUST)

Working day: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (1-hour meal break)
