Job summary

Alcon seeks a Field Technical Service Engineer to install, validate and service surgical and diagnostic equipment at customer sites. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with SOPs and GxP.

Travel to client sites and provide training to customers and distributors. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in field service or medical devices, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in engineering or related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• 1–3 years of Field Service Engineering or medical device experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems, GxP and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, validate and test Alcon equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, upgrades and retrofits.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and restore equipment functionality.
• Provide training and technical briefings to customers and internal teams.
• Support AMC/CAMC opportunities and customer retention.
