Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Technical Sales Executive (Machine Tools) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role emphasizes new business development across mould & die, aerospace, automotive, and related sectors, plus technical presentations to engineering teams.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of hands-on technical sales in industrial tools, a Mechanical/Mechatronics background, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Willingness to travel extensively is essential.

Qualifications

2–3 years of hands-on technical sales experience in a related industrial field.
Deep technical understanding of cutting tools, CNC milling, and precision manufacturing solutions.
Strong command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to communicate with a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and identify untapped clients within assigned territories and target sectors.
Conduct technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and value-proposition pitches to engineering and procurement teams.
Develop and nurture technical relationships with corporate accounts to ensure high retention and repeat business.
Generate accurate sales pipelines, manage technical RFQs, and deliver tailored commercial proposals aligned with sales targets.
Monitor local competitor activity, market shifts, and pricing trends to protect competitive positioning.
Maintain records of customer interactions and sales opportunities in internal databases.
