Job summary

FieldCore is recruiting for a Technical Field Advisor (TFA FEP) to join the HD Gas Turbine team. You will begin in FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP) to build technical expertise, leadership, and lean thinking while working on installations and service at customer sites.

The role requires extensive travel to sites, hands-on installation, maintenance, and warranty work on gas turbine equipment, with progression to a TFA upon successful graduation from the FEP program.

Qualifications

• Technical/university degree or equivalent experience or HS diploma with 4+ years field service experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position.
• Strong competence in reading electrical/mechanical diagrams, dial and laser alignment, and thermal growth equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and execute on-site activities at customer sites.
• Perform on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation.
• Respond to emergency repairs and service requests for troublesome equipment.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives on installation, operation, calibration and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate technical reports, time sheets, expense sheets and customer reports.
