Job summary

FieldCore Malaysia is seeking entrants to join the Field Engineering Program (FEP). You will be enrolled in the program to develop technical expertise, lean thinking and leadership, with training curricula, on-the-job trainings, and mentorship from experienced TFA's.

You will travel to customer sites to install, maintain and upgrade power generation equipment, learn to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, and grow toward a TFA position while upholding GE safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical/University degree or 4+ years of Field Services experience.
• 3+ years in field services or power generation maintenance.
• Strong ability to read/interprete electrical/mechanical diagrams and perform alignments.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site activities.
• Install systems and perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
• Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites.
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports and ensure customer records are up-to-date.
