Job summary

BPlant is seeking a proactive candidate to assist in daily management and supervision of plantation operations. You will gain exposure to oil palm cultivation, harvesting, field upkeep and crop production activities.

You will monitor field operations for standards and schedules, supervise estate workers and contractors, and support harvesting, manuring, spraying and other agricultural duties while ensuring safety and sustainability requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plantation Management, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Agricultural Science or related.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with plantation or agricultural experience have an added advantage.
• Able to work in estate/plantation locations and remote areas.

Responsibilities

Job description

Gain practical exposure to oil palm cultivation, harvesting, field upkeep and crop production activities.

Monitor field operations to ensure work is carried out according to established standards, procedures and schedules.

Assist in supervising estate workers and contractors to ensure productivity, work quality and compliance with safety requirements.

Support estate activities including harvesting, loose fruit collection, manuring, spraying, field upkeep and other agricultural operations.

Assist in monitoring crop performance, field conditions and operational productivity.

Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports as required.

Assist in manpower planning, work allocation and monitoring of daily field activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational safety, environmental and sustainability requirements.

Participate in estate inspections, meetings and operational improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Estate Manager or Management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Plantation Management, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Agricultural Science or other related disciplines.

Candidates with relevant plantation or agricultural experience will have an added advantage.

Strong interest in developing a career in plantation management.

Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Good communication and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

A fast learner, willing to learn and work under minimum supervision.

Proficient with computer, including document processing software.(e.g. Microsoft Office)

Willing to be based at and work in estate/plantation locations and ability to work in remote area.

Willingness to relocate across Malaysia (Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak).

Fit and comfortable working in an outdoor and field-based environment.

Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel when required.mPossess own transport.

Strong time management, planning and organization skills.
