Job summary

Alfa Laval in Shah Alam is seeking a Service Coordinator on a 5-month maternity cover contract to ensure smooth delivery of field service activities. Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in service coordination, administration, order management, scheduling, or a similar role.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Place and process customer orders in relevant systems with accurate, timely administration.
• Plan and manage daily work schedules of Service Engineers, ensuring resources are allocated.
• Monitor service reports and coordinate engineers' follow-up actions for timely closure.
• Prioritise and coordinate service jobs with Team Managers to meet business and customer requirements.
• Assist with preparation and processing of complex or non-standard quotations for Field Service activities.
• Monitor and maintain the service order backlog, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Follow up on credit queries and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Administer Performance Agreements in collaboration with Service Sales team.
• Maintain records related to tools, certifications, vaccinations, and other requirements for Service Engineers.
