Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking an UPS Engineer to be trained on Vertiv UPS Systems in Malaysia. You will handle startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for UPS, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment. Build strong rapport with customers, sales teams, distributors, and the service direction team.

Role requires daily travel to customer sites; there will be after-hours and weekend shifts. 25% travel time is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a technical service or test environment for Electrical/Electronic equipment; UPS exposure preferred.
• Computer literate with standard Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous field service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run assigned projects/PMs to ensure quality service on time and within budget.
• Maintain accuracy of the customer listing and report issues promptly.
• Support maintenance planning to achieve a minimum 90% completion rate.
