EPS Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technician to support customers across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. You will handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for Injection Blow Molding or Extrusion Molding machinery.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, read wiring diagrams, and strong problem-solving abilities. Travel across Malaysia and Southeast Asia is expected, with English communication essential.

Field Service Engineer/Technician (Injection Blow/Extrusion Molding) - PG/KL/JB

We are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Technician with practical experience in Injection Blow Molding or Extrusion Molding machinery. This position is suitable for candidates from either a Technician or Engineering background who are experienced in machinery troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and technical support. The successful candidate will provide field service support to customers across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, including machinery installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair and equipment upgrades.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support, troubleshooting and repair for customer machinery and equipment.

Perform machinery installation, testing, commissioning and start-up activities.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system issues.

Conduct equipment inspections, testing and assessments to ensure machinery is operating effectively.

Install retrofit packages, replacement parts and equipment upgrades.

Support customers during machinery breakdowns and respond to service requirements promptly.

Assist customers in resolving production and machine-performance issues.

Prepare field service reports and provide progress updates on service activities.

Work closely with internal technical teams and customers on equipment-related issues.

About you

Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Must have hands-on working experience with Injection Blow Molding or Extrusion Molding machinery/processes.

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems.

Experience in machinery troubleshooting, maintenance, installation or commissioning is highly preferred.

Able to read and understand technical drawings, electrical diagrams or machine manuals.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working independently at customer sites.

Good communication skills in English.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office for service reporting and documentation.

Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia and overseas, particularly across Southeast Asia.
