Trio-Tech (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the AEM AMPS High Parallel Test Cell in Malaysia. You will support installation, setup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites including major semiconductor locations.

Support the installation, setup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AEM AMPS High Parallel Test Cell systems.
Primarily assigned to AEM customer sites, including Intel, TF-AMD, and other semiconductor manufacturing locations.
Work under the guidance of senior engineers and AEM technical teams.
Suitable for fresh graduates or candidates beginning their careers in semiconductor equipment engineering.
Assist with equipment installation, assembly, facility hook-up, configuration, and commissioning.
Support system power-up, functional checks, calibration, dry runs, and qualification activities.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to approved procedures and checklists.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, thermal, automation, and communication issues.
Respond promptly to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and customer support requests.
Replace and verify equipment parts, modules, sensors, cables, and other components under supervision.
Monitor equipment performance and promptly elevate recurring or complex problems.
Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, checklists, and issue-tracking logs.
Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous-improvement activities.
Participate in technical training and develop competency in AMPS operation and maintenance.
Comply with all AEM, customer, EHS, cleanroom, security, and confidentiality requirements.
Support rotating shifts, standby duties, weekends, or public holidays when operationally required.
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and final-test processes or equipment.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation, or control systems.
Able to understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and work instructions.
Comfortable performing hands-on equipment work and using basic tools and measuring instruments.
Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Able to communicate and prepare simple technical reports in English.
Willing to learn, undergo structured technical training, and work under senior-engineer supervision.
Willing to work at customer sites, on rotating shifts, and during weekends or public holidays when required.
Willing to travel or accept temporary assignments at other customer locations.
Basic exposure to semiconductor testers, handlers, system-level test systems, burn-in equipment, or automated production equipment.
Familiarity with multimeters, sensors, PLCs, motors, pneumatics, thermal systems, or industrial communication.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment safety, 5S, and basic root-cause analysis would be an advantage.
Final-test equipment exposure is preferred but not mandatory, provided the candidate demonstrates strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
