Jora Malaysia is seeking a Service Engineer based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor to support customers with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site servicing of industrial systems used in semiconductor processes.

The role requires a degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering, willingness to travel domestically or overseas, and readiness to work onsite with flexible hours; fresh graduates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Own transport and willing to travel domestically or overseas and be stationed onsite for project requirements.
• 2–3 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry or with relevant instruments is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in application software such as Geomagic, Solidworks, or other relevant metrology/inspection software is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Mandarin, with good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, including equipment demonstration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial systems.
• Deliver training and after-sales service on the operation and upkeep of equipment.
• Respond to customer requests and execute corrective actions within the agreed-upon timeframe.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, sales and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and effective resolutions.
• Maintain clear and professional daily communication with customers, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups.
• Identify and participate in sales opportunities, such as new contracts, renewals, or system upgrades.
• Prepare accurate service reports, quotations, and costing documentation.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on-site as scheduled.
