Field Service Engineer – Instrumentation & Analyzers

Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support our local instrumentation portfolio in Bintulu. You will attend daily service calls, perform maintenance, and assist with commissioning and troubleshooting of Field Instruments and Analyzers on site.

Travel to outstation and offshore locations will be required as per project or maintenance needs. Degree in Engineering is preferred, and prior related experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Chemical/Mechanical/IT).
• Working experience in a similar field will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Process Control Instrumentation or Analyzers will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel outstation and offshore as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Providing after-sales service for Yokogawa's range of products, such as Field Instruments, Analyzers, Network Solution, Condition Monitoring System and etc.
• Attending to daily service calls from customers and performing scheduled maintenance services as per Annual Maintenance Contracts and adhoc service request.
• Able to handle commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Field Instruments, Analyzers and other products at site.
• Supporting service sales to enhance the branch sales & service business. This position is available in Bintulu Branch.
