Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, relocate and start up Lam equipment at customer sites, performing preventive maintenance and on-site repairs.

You will coordinate with customers to minimize downtime and ensure field modifications are executed as ECOs are released. The role requires travel (including internationally), ability to work varied shifts, and proficiency with electrical/mechanical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with no prior professional experience.
• Graduate eligible role.
• Willing to support short term overseas assignment.

Responsibilities

• Install or relocate equipment at customer sites and complete start-up activities.
• Provide warranty or paid service through on-site preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate service actions with customers to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and replace defective parts as needed.
• Implement ECO updates and perform field modifications.
• Maintain logs and service records.
• Represent Lam professionally to customers and identify additional needs.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition and secure.
• Support ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
