Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is hiring a Field Service Engineer for on-site installation, maintenance and support of Markem-Imaje products. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 2–5 years’ field service experience.

Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to serve Mandarin-speaking customers. A driving license is required, with opportunities for growth in an international environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of field service experience in medium industrial or commercial equipment.
• Must possess a driving license.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates will serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer satisfaction through technical service, installation, operation, training and repair of our products and systems.
• Perform on-site product installation on customer premises.
• Provide training and technical advice on product use in person and via phone.
• Investigate problems, provide solutions and arrange for repairs.
• Monitor repairs within the service/warranty coverage and suggest product improvements.
• Schedule and carry out planned maintenance calls and visits to regular customers.
• Monitor adherence to field service policies, procedures and standards.
• Recommend spare parts and assist with monitoring equipment.
• Provide sales support to the Sales team for new applications, software and demonstrations.
