Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled on-site test system technician based in Butterworth, Penang. You will perform installation, maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to maximize production line availability.

You will work closely with production, test and quality teams, support product introduction by deploying and validating test systems at the factory, and implement upgrades as engineering changes are released.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-site installation and maintenance of test systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot test systems to minimize downtime.
• Strong communication with production, test and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain test systems on-site to maximize line availability.
• Collaborate with production, test and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Deploy and validate test systems (automation line, fixtures, instruments, software) at factory.
• Implement upgrades on existing test systems per engineering changes.
• Prepare reports and provide data-driven insights for process improvements.
• Create and update technical documentation including manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

• Perform on-site installation, daily maintenance, troubleshooting and rapid resolution of issues related to test systems to maximize production line availability.
• Communicate closely with the factory's production, test and quality teams to address test related issues in a timely manner.
• Support product introduction by deploying, installing, integrating and validating test systems (including automation line, fixture, test instruments and software) at the factory site.
• Implement upgrades and modifications to existing test system based in engineering change request.
• Deploying, installing, debug and maintain automation test line, appearance machine, packing machine etc.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide data driven insights for product and process improvement.
• Create and update technical documentation, including system configuration manuals, maintenance guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Any other relevant task assigned by manager.

AL: Starting from 14 days
MC: 14 / 18 / 22 days
