Job summary

Seon Lim Group of Companies (SLGC) in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a proactive sales candidate to manage existing customers, source new ones, promote hardware and timber products, and monitor accounts.

You will understand customer needs, propose suitable products, provide after-sales support, travel within the assigned territory, and drive sales targets while managing payment terms and commissions.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/STPM/Diploma.
• Required skills: MS Word & Excel.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Familiar with industrial, household and general hardware is preferred.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting sales activities including attend to existing customers, source new customers, promote company products and monitor customer accounts.
• Understand customers' needs and to propose suitable products based on the customers' needs and provide after-sales service.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers to solicit orders.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• To keep track on clients' payment terms and perform collection accordingly before stipulated due date.
