Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Industrial Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer - Project Sales / Business Development to identify and develop new project sales opportunities, visit clients and sites outdoors, and establish strong relationships with customers and partners in KL & Selangor.

The role involves understanding customer requirements, proposing suitable engineering solutions, and preparing quotations and tenders for tender submissions, with travel to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or related fields
• 1–3 years of experience in project sales, technical sales, engineering or business development
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Willing to travel to customer locations and project sites within KL & Selangor
• Possess a valid driving licence
• Good command of Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Develop and identify new project sales and business development opportunities
• Conduct outdoor visits to clients, consultants, contractors and project sites
• Identify upcoming projects and potential business opportunities
• Establish and maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients
• Understand customer and project requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals and tender submissions
• Conduct product / system presentations and site visits when required
• Follow up with clients from initial enquiry through to project award
• Coordinate with the technical and project teams to prepare suitable solutions and quotations
• Monitor project opportunities, sales pipelines and customer requirements
