Job summary

TalentConsult is seeking a Collections Officer in Subang Jaya to engage customers, understand their payment needs, and propose suitable solutions. You will follow up on outstanding payments via calls, messages, and emails, arrange payment plans, maintain accurate records, and escalate complex cases when needed.

Fluency in Mandarin and English and strong negotiation skills are essential, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with experience in collections or related fields.
• Diploma and above in business/finance-related disciplines.
• Strong Mandarin and English communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments via calls/messages/emails.
• Assist customers with payment arrangements and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts and collection activities.
• Monitor accounts and follow up on balances.
• Handle concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Achieve collection targets and prepare reports.
• Escalate complex cases per company policy.

Salary: Basic + Incentive up to 7%
Working Days: (May select fixed scheduled)
Tuesday to Saturday / Wednesday to Sunday / Thursday to Monday
Working Hours: (May select fixed scheduled)
10am to 7pm / 11am to 8pm / 12pm to 9pm

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification with exp in collections, credit control, debt recovery, or customer service
• Diploma and above in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting and related
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Able to work independently under pressure

Location: Subang Jaya

Responsibility

• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments through calls, messages, and emails

• Assist customers with payment arrangements and resolve payment-related enquiries

• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activities

• Monitor assigned accounts and follow up on outstanding balances

• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally

• Achieve assigned collection targets and prepare regular reports

• Escalate complex cases when necessary and ensure compliance with company policies
