Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Collection Officer on a 6-month contract with potential conversion based on performance. Start by handling overdue accounts via calls and follow-ups, and progress toward team-lead opportunities. Working hours are a fixed 9-hour window with a choice of days, at the Subang HQ (Walkable from LRT Taipan).

Salary starts at RM1800 with KPI incentives up to 7%. SPM or above is required, with 2+ years in collections or related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM or above with relevant experience in collections or customer service.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive communication for payment arrangements.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage overdue customer accounts through calls and follow-ups.
• Negotiate and arrange suitable payment plans with customers.
• Monitor payment commitments and collection results.
• Escalate cases to Field & Recovery teams when required.
• Update collection results accurately in the company's internal system.

Working Hours (Fixed Schedule—You Choose!): Any 9 hours between 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Requirements

• SPM or above (Diploma/Degree Fresh Graduate are welcome)
• SPM Holder minimum 2 years of relevant experiencein Collection, Credit Control, Debt Recovery or Customer Service.
• Experience in rent-to-own, financing, leasing, insurance, telco or consumer products is an advantage
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Target-driven and results-oriented
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
