Job summary

TalentConsult is seeking a debt collection professional in Selangor to contact customers about outstanding payments, explain payment terms, and arrange suitable repayment plans. The role requires clear communication, patience, and accurate record-keeping. Fresh graduates with a diploma are welcome to apply.

Candidates should be organized, able to work independently, and comfortable using basic computer tools for data entry. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification with 1-2 years of debt collection experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when handling customers.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
• Fresh graduates with a Diploma are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers through phone calls, messages, or other approved communication channels regarding outstanding payments.
• Explain payment details and assist customers in understanding their account status.
• Work closely with customers to discuss suitable repayment arrangements when needed.
• Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and payment updates.
• Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the supervisor when necessary.
• Achieve collection targets while maintaining service quality and professionalism.
