Job summary

Diversatech (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Agricultural Assistant to support the Agronomist in monitoring crop growth, health and overall plant condition. You will work closely with farm workers to ensure effective crop management and data collection across field sites.

The role involves assisting with field inspections, data recording and basic reporting, as well as supporting daily farm activities and crop management practices in outdoor environments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Agronomy or related field
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply
• Basic skills in plant observation, data collection and report preparation
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) at basic level
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and accept guidance from Agronomist or senior officers
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive to farm locations is an advantage
• Able to work in hot, rainy and outdoor work environments
• Willing to work according to farm operation hours if required
• Interest in crop work, plant care, soil fertility and farm management

Responsibilities

• Monitor crop growth, health and overall plant condition
• Assist with field inspections and collect data related to crop performance, soil condition and pest/disease issues
• Support daily farm activities and implementation of crop management practices
• Assist in fertiliser, irrigation, pest and disease management activities
• Record and maintain farm and crop-related data and prepare basic reports
• Perform other agriculture-related duties as assigned by management
